Biography.... Name: Joshua N. Rose Age: 28 Height: 5' 11" Weight: for now right around 200lbs Occupation: Beekeeper and part time IT. Interests: Netherland Dwarfs (DUH!), Photography, Fireworks, Anything aviation related, Rollercoasters, Mead Making, Building miniature military models, Reading, Drawing...and whole bunch of wacky things...LOL! Education: High School Diploma from MAHS class of 1999. Graduate of the USAF Basic Training program October 11th 1999. Completion of half of the Electrical and Enviromental Aviation Systems Specialist Program at Sheppard AFB. Awards: I am a numerous holder of Best of Show awards in Photography and Honey Shows from various areas in the Northeast. I am working on getting some BOS awards for me and the bunnies now! Hi folks, I am a pretty normal well adjusted guy I would like to think. I just have a whole bunch of hobbies that take a whole bunch of time. I am always looking for new hobbies and things to do. I was involved in the ND breed many many years ago. I had a few Tort colored bunnies and one Sable Point. I did quite well with them at the shows I went to and obviously at the time I was only a youth shower. But as happens sometimes my schedule became non-conducive to me keeping the bunnies so I sold my small amount of bunnies off. Then over the last few years I started kicking around the idea of restarting my bunny hobby. I did all kinds of due diligence in researching everything about them. I contacted a few friends who pointed me in one direction for my initial buy in on the ND's. I got a breeding pair from Elaine Lewis who at the time had a very good line of Silver Marten's and her Chinchilla line was not to shabby either. I bought a Chin Sr. doe she is a pass on from (Connie and Ed Blaine)and a Silver Marten Sr. buck Elaine has since sold her entire stock lines so I wish her and her family the best. I have since bought some stock from Shawn Witte up in Medina, NY. I purchased some Siamese Sables and a Siamese Smoke Pearl junior buck. I have since bred the Chin and the Silver Marten. I really enjoy doing the rabbits as it is more interactive than the normal shows I am used to doing. I am a fully certified Welsh Honey Judge and a professional level photographer. |
